Meet Anthony Cornelius

Anthony has a varied academic background where he holds a Bachelor of Aviation Management and Juris Doctor. His introduction to the legal industry was in client facing roles working with large commercial law firms. Through this experience, Anthony developed an deep understanding of the law and its complexities and became motivated to pursue his own career in the industry. It was this experience that allowed him to discover his passion for the law at a personal level assisting clients rather than in a corporate environment.

The completion of his academic studies, in combination with professional experience, firmly reinforced Anthony’s desire to provide individuals with the support and advice they require in difficult circumstances, particularly when there are background complexities effecting people’s lives. Anthony was drawn to criminal law because of the unique opportunity for him to advocate for a broad section of the community and to try and provide positive outcomes for individuals and their families.

Anthony recently completed the Juris Doctor at Australian National University and is working towards holding a legal practicing certificate in the near future.
